They advised her that she was destined to pursue a career in the entertainment sector. After much consideration the decision was made to leave the university to enter the entertainment industry. Her debut came in the feature film Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror and was disappointed with her own performance. She put in a lot of effort to improve her acting abilities and appeared in numerous low-budget movies in order to show her abilities. It was a difficult path for this actor, but she did well thanks to her strength of character and perseverance. It was after her successful appearance in Training Day that her career began to take off.
